With demand surging for high-density computing and AI-ready infrastructure, ScaleMatrix needed a solution that could support extreme rack densities while preserving energy efficiency and operational flexibility. Their goal: to future-proof multiple U.S. facilities and deliver a consistent, high-performance colocation experience at scale.
Solution
ScaleMatrix, the original creator of Dynamic Density Control (DDC) technology, played a pivotal role in developing the S-Series Cooling Platform. Their San Diego facility became the proving ground for this high-efficiency, cabinet-based solution designed for mission-critical, high-density workloads.
By 2025, more than 1,500 S-Series cabinets had been deployed across U.S. data centers. Building on that success, ScaleMatrix partnered with TierPoint to expand to the East Coast, launching a second AI-ready facility in North Carolina.
