DDC was founded to help solve for increasing workload densities among colocation data center customers. Nothing existed on the market at the time that could handle AI and HPC workloads without sacrificing efficiency so DDC engineered the solution themselves. 

DDC continues to reinvent and improve long-standing metrics for efficiency, density, and security in the data center exclusively for their own data centers use.  

Word starts to spread about DDC's innovative technology, and the demand for high-density cabinet technology continues to grow.

DDC streamlines cabinet design and dramatically increases 
manufacturing capacity to thousands per week with new manufacturing partner.  

TierPoint selects DDC Cabinet Technology to propel AI workloads in 26,000 square foot ultra-high-density data center.

Private equity firm Cequel III, with Thompson Street Capital Partners, takes a controlling interest in DDC. The company starts to operate independently of its founders for the first time.
